The Well
MISSION STATGEMENT
The Well is for young adults who need to be spiritually planted, grown and ministered to with the word of God on what is culturally relevant in today's society from a biblical perspective. Our mission is influencing young adults into doing what we as Ambassadors for Christ are doing, serving and giving glory to God. Check out The Well's official website here.
INSPIRATION
The Well was inspired by the story of how Jesus encountered the woman at the well.
13 Jesus answered and said to her, "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."
— John 4:13-14 NKJV
The Well was also inspired by the song of invitation to come to Jesus entitled, Come Just As You Are.
Come just as you are
Hear the spirit call
Come just as you are
Come and see
Come receive
Come and live forever
Life everlasting
Strength for today
Taste the living water
And never thirst again
The Well upholds the same statements beliefs of Ambassador for Christ Worship Center. What We Believe
1st and 3rd Saturday of the Month: Bible Study Outing
Bible Study Outing is where our young adults will gather in a circle and analyze scripture that is given to them prior to our meetings. This will be done by issuing handouts as it pertains to verses from the bible that will generally ask them to analyze and write down in their own words. We will then interpret what the verses mean and actively discuss how it's relevant in our lives today. We begin our gathering in prayer and end with prayer. Meeting places can be at parks in the daytime, or at the beach, or in a large sized conference rooms in a library, or wherever else the committee agrees upon that is convenient for bible study outing. For young adults who can open their residence for bible study is also welcome and appreciated. This will allow us to know one another and advice each other based on scripture into fully understanding what God's will for us is.
2nd and 4th Saturday of the Month: Saturday Night Service
Saturday Night Service is where our young adults meet in the sanctuary for praise and worship and listen in to dynamic preaching that will lead people to accept the ways of Jesus Christ. At the conclusion of the service, either an invitation to come forward into submitting themselves to Jesus will be given and/or formal prayer is given so that the word of God can be applied to the people that evening.
The topics of the messages are of the following but certainly not limited to: Time-management, single-life, relationships, guidance, maintaining salvation, pleasing God, serving the Lord, the will of God, building a life within themselves and others the right way while maintaining their personal relationship with God from a biblical perspective, and much more.
