Living by Faith
“For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”
(Romans ch. 1 v. 17)
Faith is one of God’s greatest gifts for us. It represents the key to access the riches of God’s glory that has been promised by God through out so many generations. As a matter of fact, only through faith that we can access the grace of God and have a way of dealing with Him. As part of the gentile world our faith is the only thing we have to qualify for God’s benefits such as, salvation, blessings, guidance, protection and many more.
Faith is not something that we just profess or a part of our religious exercise. It is something that we need to apply in our lives in a daily basis. Something that we learn to be confident in doing and live for. Something that we can include when we make a plan or a decision, when we deal with unfavorable situations in our lives and most of all, when we deal with our known human weaknesses such as anger, hatred, jealousy, envy, and indulgence.
Faith is our potent weapon against all eventualities in life. It is our spiritual shield against all sorts of attacks from the devil, against all attacks from the world, and even against our human ways that are not pleasing to the Lord. That is why the word of God has so many messages about faith and how to take good care of it. Through faith, we achieve righteousness before God, this is also the only thing that pleases Him when He sees us. Let us keep it alive and powerful by always putting it into action. Let us live by faith from what the Bible says, “The just shall live by faith.” You will be glad that you did.
