Ambassador for Christ

Portrait of the Lord Jesus Christ

It was a very stormy night in the middle of the sea, the Lord Jesus Christ was asleep while the disciples were exceedingly afraid. A tempest arose in the middle of the night sending the ship rocking back and forth. The ship was in the brink of being shipwrecked while Jesus was asleep. One disciple woke Him up shouting, “Master save us, we will perish.” The Lord Jesus Christ awakened from his sleep questioning the faith of his disciples saying, “Why are ye so fearful oh ye of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the sea and there was great calm. The disciples marveled saying, “What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”

Indeed, the Lord Jesus Christ is full of signs and wonders. The apostle John concluded that even the world cannot contain the books which contain the life story, the signs and wonders that Jesus Christ had shown to the world. (John ch. 21 v. 25) The Bible had prophesized His coming, even His birth had shaken the four corners of the world. His life and ministry became the focus of adoration to the believers and meticulous scrutiny (if not criticism) by skeptics who later were silenced by the resounding proofs that Jesus Christ was the Messiah and the Savior of the world. His death though cruel and painful brought salvation to the soul of mankind and healing to every human being here on earth. His resurrection has confirmed His majesty and power. His greatness is beyond question, He declared in the book of Revelation; “I am He that liveth, and was dead, and now I am alive and I am alive for evermore.” (Rev. ch. 1 v. 8) Yes, Jesus Christ is the greatest!

The Lord Jesus Christ indeed, is the man for all seasons. The Bible says, “That He is the manifestation in the flesh of the invisible God.” (1 Timothy ch. 3 v. 16) “The fullness of the Godhead dwelleth in Him bodily.” (Colossians ch. 2 v. 9)

My brothers and sisters, the Lord Jesus Christ is our example. He was tempted in all points and yet there was no sin found in Him. He was an overcomer. He came to carry our sins and crucified it to the cross and yet there was no complaint found on Him. He is the greatest lover of our soul, the Bible declares that; “Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down His life for His friends … There is no description known to man that can ever confined His greatness. He deserved our praise and worship, our service and our dedication.
