Having a Relationship with Jesus Christ

I would like to share something that will greatly enhance the benefits of having a relationship with Jesus Christ. This message, has been a subject of so many preaching and teaching engagements, yet how many believers understand the full benefits of its practical applications? Having a relationship with Jesus Christ is one of the most important messages in the words of God. The dilemma is, how many children of God understand the physical and the emotional benefits of it? It is my prayer that this article will guide us not only to a deeper meaning of its relationship, but also the benefits of its practical applications into our daily living.

There are three basic benefits that derive from this relationship. First, are having personal guidelines of daily living. The book of 1 Peter 2:21 says Jesus Christ has given us an example, a pattern if you will, that we should follow His steps. With our relationship with Jesus Christ, we get a pattern of how to live our lives according to His will. This is true and good when facing our challenges and most of all, overcoming all the trials in our lives. The second benefit is having somebody to turn to when we get exhausted of the struggles and the burdens that come our way. In Mathew 11:28-29, Jesus Christ gave the invitation to come to Him, those who are heavy laden and weary and He will give them rest, this is really wonderful. Having someone to turn to when having physical and emotional injuries is just a wonderful thing. Praise the Lord! The third benefit is having a real Lord and Savior when being knocked down by problem in life. Jesus Christ will make sure of that. As long as we believe Him and continue the relationship with Him, the Bible declares, we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. This is our blessing and our advantage, after all the Bible says, great is He that is in the us than He that is in the world. It is my prayer we are mused on these benefits from God, regardless of what situation we are in, we are holding on the blessed hope that we have in Christ Jesus. God bless you all.
