So Great Salvation

The word "salvation" comes from the Greek word, "salvatum," which is the English language has three meanings. One definition is, it is the divine act wherein an individual is being free from the consequences of sin. The second definition is, it is the act of God wherein the individual is being freed from the bondage of sin. The third definition is, it is the act of God wherein an individual is being transported from earth to a heavenly abode.

Based on these definitions, we can conclude that salvation indeed, is an act of God. It is not thru our works that we are able to provide salvation for our soul, Salvation comes because the love of God cries out for mankind's second chance. Though God's holiness demands a separation from God and God's righteousness demands judgment yet, God's grace has prevailed in giving a way to provide salvation for a lost and drying world. The Bible has recorded the greatest miracle that ever occurred in the history of man, that is the coming of the Son of God that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but will have eternal life. The Bible has declared for by grace you are served thru faith. It is not according to our works lest any man should boast, it is the gift of God.

God's love has already provided salvation for the world. However, it is not come to us automatically without having and awareness to it. The Bible says we must believe with all our heart and we shall be saved. We've got to have an undying faith to what God has done for us. A form of awareness that will result in thanksgiving and adoration for what God done for us. This is what faith is all about.
