Spiritual Journey
Our spiritual journey begins when we believe in Jesus Christ and receive Him as Lord and Savior. That was the day that signaled our new life as a child of God. Since that day, we embarked a new journey not mandated by our carnal manifestations, but life in the Spirit. This is our journey where only our faith and devotions matter the most, because it leads us to spiritual experiences God wants us to have.
There are three things that are extremely important in this journey. One is discovering our relationship with God. This part of our journey, involves establishing fellowship with God, feeling His presence and exposing us to His wonderful virtuous nature. The second part of the journey is to realize the change in our lives thru the Holy Spirit. This spiritual experience depends on our submission to the Holy Spirit. It can be instant or a gradual experience of change, yet real and attainable by anyone who sincerely seek for it. The third experience is our discovering of gifts for the work of the ministry. Each of us, who profess that we are children of God, is given a spiritual gift by the Holy Spirit. This gift is our main tool to do the work of the ministry. Of course, this involves training and equipping, but this is what we do until the arrival of Jesus.
