Submitting Ourselves to God
The building of the church was the greatest missino of the Lord Jesus Christ here on earth. The Bible says, that God has chosen a people to deal with in these last days. A kind of people who will always submit themselves to the every command of God. A kind of people whose passion is to give God pleasure and glory. This group of people is no other than the church of the living God.
The church is very precious in the sight of God. They are the people whom God had given the power to become His children. Men and women whose lives were changed and their sins forgiven. They are the people who experienced the power of God and serving God with all their hearts and with all their minds.
The building of the church was one of the greatest manifestation of God's love for the world. The Bible said, "For God so loved the world he gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." The Lord Jesus Christ had suffered, endured afflictions and finally died the death of criminals in order to build His church. That is why the church is the apple of His eyes, the center of HIs affections and the recepients of His riches and glory.
Being made heirs of this tremendous blessing and grace, we have nothing to give back in return for His goodness. No amount merited favor from God. The apostle Paul in the book of Hebrews ch. 10 v. 22-25, has given us the right response. The Bible says, "We must come to God with a true heart, with faith in our hearts, with a clean conscience thru the working of the Holy Spirit. "Let us serve God with all our heart, soul and mind." Let us protect and uphold this grace of God with all our hearts. This is our number one life commitment. God is expecting is everyday.
