The Born Again Experience

3“Jesus answered and said unto, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into this mother’s womb, and be born? 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” -John 3:3-6

Today, I would like to share the words of God that deals with one of the most important goals of our Christian faith, we call this the Born-again experience. There are two things that I would like to emphasize about this subject. First, is the part of God in providing the means to realize the Born-again experience. He said, they that were born of the flesh and that means carnal and sinful and fall short of the glory of God. Hopeless as far accomplishing the plan of God for humanity and was already sentenced to die both spiritual and physical death.

On the other hand, they that are born of the spirit, are the spirit and this means not under bondage of carnality and sin. People who are born-again in spirit, are people who are govern or guided by the Spirit of God an they are called the children of God. The kind of response that God is seeking from people is having faith in the Born-again experience and recognize Jesus as Lord and Savior.

The second part of the Born-again experience is the realization of the change of life. This cannot be done overnight, but a gradual occurrence with the help of the Holy Spirit. The Bible declares that the fruit of the Holy Spirit such as love, peace, and joy and many more; are virtues that are being released from the presence of God. These virtues caters to our emotional responses, this means that it can help us guide our actions and reactions in any given situation; thus helping us change our lives. This is the Born-again experience. Praise the Lord! The only response that God wants us to continue to do is devotions to Him and stay in our lives. This is the pattern of how change of lives were experienced in the past, surely this is how it is going to happen in our generations and God wants us to be in the center of this spiritual experience. Desire it and it will happen to you. God bless you all!
