The Holy Spirit, Our Greatest Help

As children of God, we have plenty of challenges in this world. Even as Christians, challenges come due to our choosing of a kind of lifestyle that God wants us to have. It is a godly life full of God’s blessings, yet full of trials to purge our self-determination whether to serve God or mammon. On the other hand, there is the constant attacks of the devil hitting the very foundation of our faith. These are obstacles that always best us. Their objective, to destroy our focus in serving God and eventually lose our faith. The Bible says “Satan, the devil who is the serpent, walketh about seeking whom he may devour.” He is working twenty-four hours to accomplish his mission to destroy the plan of God to save you and me.

As children of God who realize the importance of our relationship, we will make a stand and fight a good fight of faith. However, doing this noble task of defending our faith against the destructive works of our enemies may appear impossible if only relying on our own capability. This is the reason why so many believers fell by the wayside and have abandoned their service to God. God in His foreknowledge, knows the magnitude of our spiritual warfare, that is why He sent down the Holy Spirit to help us in every part of our spiritual endeavors. The Bible says in John 14:26, that the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach us and bring all things to our remembrance ... He is our great source of help today and He can be accessed through our faith and our prayers. Let us believe in Him and always desire His presence in our lives. He will always be there to help us find remedies and solutions to our needs. The Bible declares that the Holy Spirit has the power to rejuvenate our physical bodies and our souls to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. Let us allow ourselves to seek his help and intervention in our lives, He will never leave of us or forsake us.Let this be the hope that strengthen us everyday. God bless you all.
