Ambassador for Christ

The Resurrection

“And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: held the place where they laid him. But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto.”

- Mark 16:6

To the believers of Jesus Christ, the resurrection is one of the greatest phenomenon of all times. It did not only prove the greatness of Jesus Christ among thousands of popular leaders of the world, it bring great hope for all those who believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior of the world, He arose from the dead to prove His power over death.

The Lord Jesus Christ’s resurrection also proved to the world that He has the power to fulfill all of His promises; that includes salvation and blessings and the gift of everlasting life. The resurrection has proven that He is not just a man but the son of God who came to seek and save those who are lost. It has proven His power over death, for all the well known leaders of the world. And all of their promises and ideologies means nothing and without power because they never have fulfilled it.

Today, the resurrection is the great message of the redeemed. The battle cry of the ambassadors of Christ, This is also the very reason why we are serving the Lord Jesus Christ. Why is that? Because He is alive. In the book of Revelation Jesus Christ said, “Behold, I am He that was dead and now I am alive and alive forever. Paul, the apostle said, “If we are serving the Lord Jesus Christ and did not rise from the dead, we are of all men most miserable.” Praise the Lord. He arose from the dead and that means those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ are of all men most fortunate because we have a living Savior and Lord of our lives. He said, “I am the Resurrection and the life, no one can go to the Father except through me. He that believes in me though he is dead, he will live again.” This is our blessed hope in the Lord Jesus Christ.
