What it Means to Have Jesus
Having Jesus Christ is not just a matter of religion, but having a real relationship with the Lord and Savior of our souls. Having Jesus means having a personal Lord and Savior who cares about us in sin in a special way. Someone who knows us more than anyone in this world. Someone who loves us and is willing and able to help us.
Having Jesus Christ is to become a beneficiary of salvation that God promises to everyone that believes. This includes freedom from the bondage and the consequences of sins. It also includes the assurance that if we die, we will inherit the kingdom of God. Having Jesus Christ qualifies us to benefit the blessings of Abraham. Yes my friends, the untold blessings of Abraham is promised to those will receive Jesus Christ in their lives. Finally, the Bible says, “He that hath the Son hath life” and this is not just life but life everlasting, that means having Jesus Christ qualifies us to live forever with Him. This is a win win situation for us. In fact, this is the greatest thing that can ever happen to us. Let us rejoice and be glad in Him.
